Some of the best plains game hunting in Africa
Both Aru Game Lodges are situated in central Namibia
They are game-rich farms offering unique hunting terrains. We have an abundance of self-sustainable game and a host of species. Our farms are home to interesting species such as the Caracal, Wildebeest, Cheetah, Brown Hyena, Giraffe, Leopard, Ostrich, Warthog and two species of Zebra. There are multiple antelope species inhabiting our farms, such as the Blesbuck, Eland, Hartebeest, Impala, Klipspringer, Kudu, Oryx, Roan, Sable, Springbuck, Waterbuck and more. Absolutely nothing goes to waste after a plains game hunt. We give to nature, and nature gives back to us.

Our plains game hunting lodges in central Namibia
Our two lodges allow you to explore the diverse terrain Namibia has to offer
Veronica Game Lodge
Veronica is set in a typical Kalahari savannah landscape with red dunes and majestic shepherd’s and camelthorn trees complementing the breathtaking surroundings.
The main building and thatched roof chalets are superbly perched on the crest of a dune, so you’ll take in spectacular 360-degree views.
Evenings and early mornings are serene with Oryx and Springbok roaming at your doorstep.
Veronica is also home to certain species that Kalakwa does not have. This makes it a must to visit both lodges, so that one can experience the diversity of Africa at its best.
Kalakwa Game Lodge
Kalakwa, located a mere 40 minutes from Hosea Kutako International Airport, offers landscapes ranging from savannah grasslands to bushveld and mountains.
These diverse sceneries crowned with spectacular sunsets promise every visitor a taste of Africa at its finest.
With hills, mountains, dry rivers and rock formations, every corner of this terrain is filled with life. You never know what to expect on a guided walk. Birdlife is spectacular and silence is never quite achieved, as you will either hear jackal calls at night, or birdsong during the day. The landscape scenery at Kalakwa is surreal, especially on sundowner excursions up the hills. This is a true piece of Africa at its finest.
